Multi-branch

Open a new branch without opening a new system.

Biomatrix is organised the way healthcare groups are: one organisation, many facilities. Each branch operates independently, while authorised people at the centre can see across all of them.

Structure

Four levels. Clear ownership at each one.

  1. Organisation

    Owner / super administrator

Creates branches, sets organisation-wide roles and policies, and decides what each branch can see and do.

  2. Branch

    Branch administrator

Runs a single hospital, clinic or pharmacy: its staff, rosters, appointments and stock.

  3. Department

    Heads of department

Wards, units, laboratory, pharmacy, reception. Rosters and access can be scoped here.

  4. Team

    Staff

The people doing the work, seeing the patients and records their role allows.

What stays local, what's shared

Independent where it should be. Connected where it helps.

Per branch

  • Staff lists, departments and rosters
  • Drug and supply inventory, with its own stores
  • Appointment diaries and outpatient queues
  • Branch dashboards and reports

Across the organisation

  • Patient records that follow the patient between your branches
  • Organisation-wide roles, policies and permission templates
  • Stock transfers between branches, recorded at both ends
  • Group reporting: one branch, several, or all of them

Access by branch

Permissions follow the org chart.

A doctor at the Benin branch sees Benin's patients unless you decide otherwise. A group pharmacist can be given stock visibility across every store. You choose the boundaries.

Example role permissions. Filled square means full access, outlined square means scoped to own branch or assigned patients, dot means no access.
